HOW TO CREATE LOGOS IN MS WORD PART 2

MICROSOFT WORD DRAWING PROJECT No. 27  PART 2
TITLE:   HOW TO CREATE LOGOS IN MS WORD
TYPE:   GRAPHIC DESIGN
I use MS Word 2007 to create these logos but previous versions will also do just fine. To create the logo of the flying goose, you have to convert the digital drawing of the goose into a shape. Here are the steps to covert the picture (form) into a shape:
i.              Group the drawing into a single unit by using the Select Objects tool.
ii.             Click Format tab on the Standard Bar and then fill the drawing object with Yellow colour in Shape Fill.
iii.            Click Format tab on the Standard Bar and then fill the outline of the drawing object with Yellow colour in Shape Outline.
iv.           Click Insert tab and create the decorative text with WordArt.

Finally, to create the snail logo, you will have to group the picture into a single unit first. After that, click Format > Shape Outline > Weight and then choose the line thickness that you want.
